February 17th 2019: Grounded off Kandira (Turkey). A Coastal Safety tug and a technical team attended the incident scene to provide further assistance. No leaks and pollution were reported. All crew members were safely evacuated by Coastguard teams to shore. A first salvage attempt failed, after the rope of a tug broke several times during the attempt to pull the ship to deeper waters. The salvage attempt was aborted at dawn.

 

February 19th 2019: Re-floated at Dikili in the Kocaeli Kandıra Kocaeli province. Divers were called to inspect the hull for damage. Allowed to leave the region only after the investigation by the Kefken Harbor Master.

February 23rd 2019: Arrived at Tuzla for repairs.

March 26th 2019: Left the yard and berthed at the Yilport Gebze Terminal the same day.
