October 12th 2010:
Around midnight, the ship ran aground in the archipelago near Turku in southwest Finland. The 122-meter-long freighter had departed Turku empty at 9:30 AM, bound for Pietarsaari on Finland’s northwest coast. The next morning, it was reported that the ship was taking on water, but according to the Finnish Coast Guard, there was no danger of sinking. The Coast Guard vessel TURSAS was on standby, and a helicopter was also kept ready in case the situation worsened. The ship was reported to be stable, and the weather conditions were good, with light winds and calm seas. Refloated on 13TH Oct.
October 14th 2010: Arrived at Naantali. Damage sustained to the bow and bottom tanks.
