As this site is all about Photographic “Past and Present” no apology for the main photo being in Black and White but, I think it is appropriate.
I once asked, “What happened to the tradition of Christmas Trees on masts?” and still don’t know why it doesn’t happen now!
I continue to thank Ray for allowing me this platform to write the articles and present accompanying photos.
I must also carry on thanking all contributors, past and present, who provide the site’s foundation.
Not forgetting all those viewers whose unceasing visits make it all worthwhile.
Have a wonderful time and take care.
Best wishes.
Nigel Thornton.
P.S. URGENT REQUEST: If anyone is about the Channel Ports on Christmas Day/Boxing Day taking pics, for addition to Christmas Past at the Port of Dover, all would be gratefully received (please message me via “Contact Forms”).
