History

The second of two all-new hybrid propulsion vessels. Both ships have the capability to operate on methanol fuel and utilize battery propulsion with shore power as these technologies become available.

December 27th 2022: Contract date.

May 10th 2023: Ordered.

October 30th 2024: Keel laid.

February 25th 2025: Launched.

September 20th 2025: Completed sea trials.

October 16th 2025: Naming ceremony at CMI Jinling Weihai in China, Stena and the shipyard also marked the signing of a Letter-of-Intent (LOI) for the construction of a RoRo vessel based on the larger so-called C-Flexer design.
