History
June 1st 1990: Launched.
In April 1991 the DITLEV REEFER loaded a world record cargo of apples and pears in Napier, New Zealand for Antwerp ……..
November 28th 1990: Delivered as IVAR LAURITZEN to Owner Sonderjysk Erhvervsinvest. Operator: Lauritzen Fleet Management A/S.
The IVAR LAURITZEN on completion, sailed via Las Palmas and Panama to load Ecuadorian bananas for Cork, Antwerp and Hamburg, and on her third voyage carried 6953 pallets of deciduous from San Antonio Este to Hamburg, Malmo and Drammen.
Later in 1991, she carried a record 6773 pallets of citrus fruit from Durban an Port Elizabeth to Mediterranean ports to conclude at Pembroke.
