July 29th 1954: Launched.

December 4th 1954: Completed for MacAndrews & Co Ltd. The first of two 22000 gt vessels in one of the earliest British post-war orders from a German yard.

1969: Renamed SUMBER TUNAS II. Registered Owner; Tunas (Hong Kong Ltd).

September 19th 1977: On a voyage from Surabaya, suffered a fire off Dili, Timor.
