Steel single screw “Combi Trader” motor vessel built in 1994 by De Hoop Foxhol ( Volharding Shipyard BV), Hoogezand, The Netherlands (Yard No 319) as a General cargo ship / Container ship – Strengthened for heavy cargoes.

1993: Keel laid.

January 22nd 1994: Launched.

February 23rd 1994: Completed.

February 1994: GEULBORG. Registered Owner: C.V. Scheepvaartonderneming Geulborg, Delfzijl – The Netherlands. Manager: Wagenborg Shipping B.V.

November 21st 1999: Collided with a shipping buoy near the Ryggen and suffered minor damage.

June 2000 – May 2003: GEULBORG for W. Waller KG, m.s. Suzanne, Hemmoor – German. Manager: Wagenborg Shipping B.V.,

July 5th 2002: Ran aground on the island of Askar near Husum in Sweden. The crew had to leave the ship with lifeboats due to heavy list. Pulled loose and towed to Husum for inspection. Repaired at Stettin. 

February 13th 2003: En route from Hamina to Delfzijl, , with a cargo of rolls of paper, collided with the OOCL NEVSKIY near Helsinki. GEULBORG sustained significant bow damage and was towed to Helsinki. The cargo was transferred to the GOOTEBORG*. After several months of repair, she returned to service.
