History

“The cooling vessel type Super Core was designed in the late 1960s by the Norwegian shipyard Bergens Mekaniske Verksted from Bergen for the Israeli fruit export company Maritime Fruit Carriers (MFC) from Haifa. The type ending ” … core ” therefore derives also from the Hebrew word for “cold”…”
