A Year in Review – October 2015

This post is the 5th installment of my series ‘A Year in Review‘ and features a selection of my own photography from October 2015

October

Ah October, the start of Autumn, the so called season of mists and mellow fruitfulness…. and from experience some really cracking sunsets. October saw a lot of travel, mainly centered on crossing the North Sea with Stena Line, P&O Ferries and DFDS Seaways. As in previous years it was envisaged to do a full voyage report on our return but unfortunately after being taken ill on the second day I was out of the picture for a couple of days and I just haven’t found the time in to complete a full report. However Paul managed to get a lot of internal photographs of the ship’s we travelled on and we intend to publish a number of ship reviews this year.

Upon return to Dover it was time for a few Channel trips with P&O Ferries, taking in all five of the Dover-Calais fleet over a 3 day period. Thanks to the change in the seasons we were to witness a number of sunsets at sea, something in my mind which can’t be beaten.
