January 16th 2018: “In very difficult weather condotions with winds reaching 100 km/h and 3.5 meters wave height. Emergency response tug ABEILLE FLANDRE was sent from Corsica to assist drifting freighter BURHAN DIZMAN 3 while it was on its way from Fos-sur-Mer, France to Gemlik, Turkey. The freighter suffered propulsion problems and dropped emergency anchor, 3 km off Propriano, Corsica. BURHAN DIZMAN 3 was moved to the port of Ajaccio for inspection and repairs.”.
