September 11th 2016: Having left the port of Scalloway, where she had delivered a cargo of offshore platform mooring chains, suffered engine failure. The crew tried to fix the problem, and owing to adverse and deteriorating weather conditions, it was decided to return the ship to safe waters off Scalloway. The vessel reached the anchorage off Scalloway under own power, being escorted by the MCA salvage tug HERACLES and DUNTER. The fierce weather that persisted throughout the daylight hours of the day prevented entering port. The threesome slipped into Scalloway without incident. She was guided alongside under shortened tow line and after repairs,  left the port again and resumed her voyage to Blyth.
