January 7th 2017: Collided with the stern of the tuna fishing vessel HSIANG YUNG No. 6 in the Philippines Sea. The hull of the fishing vessel was breached with ensuing water ingress, but there was no risk to the crew of 10, two Taiwanese and eight Indonesian nationals, aboard the fishing vessel. The SEVILLA CARRIER remained nearby. Although the damaged fishing vessel was able to sail, its crew has been advised to wait for the other Taiwanese fishing vessel which was expected to reach them later in the evening.
