History

June 24th 1998: Laid down.

March 18th 1999: Launched. However, the owner’s exacting demands in relation to interior fit out caused delivery problems and personnel problems. This led to a roughly one-year delay.

December 29th 2001: Delivered to Schifffahrtsgesellschaft Sea Cloud II mbH & Co KG. Operator; Sea Cloud Cruises GmbH

January 22nd 2001: Completed.

February 6th 2001: Christened. She sails mainly in the Mediterranean in summer and in the Caribbean in winter. Her Atlantic crossings between these two regions are also marketed as cruises.
