History

October 23rd 2020: Contract date.

August 23rd 2020: Keel laid.

December 14th 2018: Launched. Parts of the superstructure were built at Marine Projects Inc, Gdansk, Poland.

May 23rd 2022: Completed. Was supposed to be delivered in 2019, but due to the yard’s poor finances, delivery was postponed.

June 18th 2020: Brittany Ferries cancelled the contract.

2020: Contract taken over by Siem Offshore AS.

October 25th 2020: Towed to Fosen Shipyard, Rissa, Norway for completion.

November 2nd 2020: Arrived at Fosen Yard near Trondheim, Norway.

February 3rd 2022: Trials.

March 15th 2023 – March 16th 2023: Moored in Gdańsk, at the Westerplatte level, in order to fill the tank with liquefied natural gas (the so-called LNG bunkering).

March 22nd 2022 – April 1st 2022: Further trials.

May 24th 2022: Handed over from the Fosen Yard AS to her owner and left Rissa for Gdynia.

May 26th 2022: Arrived Gdynia.

December 2022: Dry docked.

January 24th 2023 – February 11th 2023: In dry dock, then moored at the Nauta Gdynia.

February 28th 2023: Inspected by Balearia officials in Gydnia who announced the company had decided to charter the vessel on a 6 month contract, with options to purchase. Anticipated that she will operate between Melilla – Malaga.
