Gotlandslinjen was a subsidiary of Nordström & Thulin AB shipping company which was awarded the concession to operate the routes between the Swedish island of Gotland and the Swedish mainland from 1988. The shipping company operated the traffic until 1997 when Rederi AB Gotland were awarded the concession to operate the route with there newly created subsidiary Destination Gotland.
