Falcon Seafreight
Overview
Falcon Seafreight was a freight ferry operator trading the route from Folkestone, United Kingdom to Boulogne, France. Services commenced in 1996, initially in partnership with Sea Containers subsidiary Hoverspeed. Sea Containers withdrew from the partnership in 1999 leaving Falcon to operate the route alone. The Folkestone-Boulogne eventually closed in June 2001 with the company citing increased competition on the Dover Straits.
