History

March 31st 1999: Ordered by Lloyd Sardegna Compagnia Di Navigazione, Olbia, Italy. Planned services between Livorno – Sardinia.

January 7th 2001: Keel struck.

April 21st 2001: Launched under the name GOLFO DEI DELFINI.

March 2002: Build interrupted.

2002: Building severely delayed and proposed owner declined delivery. Debt to yard guaranteed by, Polish Bank, Pekao SA.

July 29th 2002: Builders went bankrupt.

July 17th 2002: Sold to DFDS Tor Line A/S, Copenhagen, Denmark.

November 3rd 2002: Taken over by DFDS.

November 4th 2002 – November 6th 2002: Trials.

November 27th 2002: Renamed DANA SIRENA.

November 28th 2002: Anchored at Rönne owing to Polish export regulations.

November 29th 2002: Arrived Remontowa Shiprepair Yard, Gdansk for rebuilding/refit.

June 10th 2003: Home port Esbjerg.

June 11th 2003: Arrived Esbjerg from Poland.

June 17th 2003: Introduced between Esbjerg – Harwich.

June 22nd 2013: Collided with the quayside at Parkeston Quay, Harwich. Bow damage and taken out of service for damage inspection.

June 24th 2013: Left Harwich for Bremerhaven.

June 25th 2013: Arrived Bremerhaven for repairs.

July 5th 2013: Planned return to service.

September 27th 2014: Left Esbjerg for her final sailing between Esbjerg – Harwich.

September 29th 2014: Arrived in Esbjerg ending 134 years of Esbjerg – Harwich service.

September 29th 2014: Left Esbjerg for Fredrikstad.

September 10th 2014: Left Fredrikstad with military equipment for Aalborg and Kalundborg.

October 6th 2014: Services between Paldiski – Kapellskär.

January 8th 2015: Final day in service Kapellskär – Paldiski.

January 10th 2015: Arrived Remontowa, Gdansk for fitting of exhaust scrubbers.

January 31st 2015: Agreement signed for 5 year charter to Brittany Ferries, France. Services commencing April/May 2015.

February 10th 2015: Left Gdansk for Klaipeda.

February 11th 2015: Arrived in Klaipeda.

February 2015: Services between Klaipeda – Karlshamn.

April 2015: Renamed BAIE DE SEINE. Transferred to French flag registered in Le Havre.

May 2015: Planned entry into service between Portsmouth – Le Havre/ Portsmouth – Santander.

May 1st 2015: Left Gdansk destination Le Havre (eta 03/05/2015).

4th May 2015: Scheduled to arrive in Le Havre.

4th May 2015: Conducted berthing trials in Le Havre before proceeding to Cherbourg.

7th May 2015: Operated a freight service from Cherbourg to Portsmouth.

8th May 2015: Arrived in Portsmouth for berthing trials. Following berthing trials she proceeded to the St Helens anchorage to allow the CAP FINISTERE to berth in Portsmouth.

9th May 2015: Officially entered service with Brittany Ferries sailing to Bilbao (Freight Only).

11th May 2015: Scheduled to enter passenger service between Le Havre and Portsmouth.

4th December 2016: Resumed service from Santander to Portsmouth.

March 12th 2020: Anticipated final Brittany Ferries departure from Portsmouth. Her charter complete, she will return to her owners DFDS.

March 13th 2020: Arrived Le Havre.

March 21st 2020: Sailed from Le Havre, destination Gdansk.

March 2020: Returned to DFDS.

April 27th 2020: Renamed SIRENA SEAWAYS.

April 30th 2020: Left Gdansk for Klaipeda..

May 5th 2020: Services between Klaipeda – Karlshamn.
