History

June 18th 1971: Keel laid.

June 18th 1972: Launched.

1973: Originally built as the RoRo/Cargo vessel NARCIS

August 22nd 1973: Delivered to Zim Israel Navigation Co, Haifa, Israel.

1985: Sold to Dolphin Hellas Shipping, Piraeus and renamed ALKYON.

1986: Converted, in Chalkis, Greece, to a cruise ship, also lengthened by 29 metres.

1986: Renamed AEGEAN DOLPHIN.

1988: Re-delivered and introduced into cruising in the Mediterranean from Venice.

1989: Charter to South Pacific Cruise Services in Australia and renamed DOLPHIN.

September 1989: Charter completed.

1990: Renamed AEGEAN DOLPHIN.

1992: Refit.

October 31st 1994: Laid up in Piraeus.

1995: Charter to Epirotiki Line, Piraeus – Greece.

1996: Renamed AEGEAN I and to Discovery Cruises.

April 1996: Charter to Renaissance Cruises.

1997 – 1998: Charter to Golden Sun Cruises, Piraeus – Greece.

1998: Sold to Golden Sun Cruises, Piraeus, Greece.
