June 1st 2021:

“DFDS launches new unaccompanied freight service from Sheerness to Calais”

“The service will start on 1st June and will offer one daily sailing in each direction between the two ports.

It will be operated by the GOTHIA SEAWAYS, which can carry up to 165 unaccompanied freight units (trailers or containers without drivers)………………”

April 15th 2021: “Announcement made she has been acquired by CldN (CobelFret) and will be renamed MAXINE. She will be chartered back to DFDS for continued service in DFDS’ Baltic network during April-May and is expected to join DFDS’s new Calais – Sheerness freight-only service scheduled to commence on 1 June.”.

July 6th 2021: Sailed from Frederica to Sheerness (anticipated service Calais – Sheerness commencing  12/07/2021 with a departure from Calais at 23:59 hrs and then a departure from Sheerness at 11:00 hrs, 7 days a week.).

July 9th 2021: Arrived at Sheerness for trials.

July 9th 2021: Left Sheerness.

July 9th 2021: Arrived Calais for trials prior to taking up Service.

July 12th 2021: Commenced service  Calais – Sheerness.

January 12th 2022: DFDS announced suspension of Calais – Sheerness services (with effect from 15/01/2022). Last departure from Sheerness 14/01/2022 (11.00 hrs)

January 14th 2022: Came off service at Calais.

January 15th 2022: Sailed to Zeebrugge.

January 15th 2022: Arrived Zeebrugge.

January 16th 2022: Left Zeebrugge showing destination as Santander.

January 2022: Took up services Santander – Dublin – Liverpool.

July 8th 2022: Left Santander for Zeebrugge.

July 10th 2022: Arrived Zeebrugge.

July 19th 2022: Left Zeebrugge for Tyne.

July 22nd 2022: Arrived A&P Hebburn, Tyne for refit.

August 5th 022: Left Tyne.

August 6th 2022: Arrived Zeebrugge.

August 9th 2022: Arrived Antwerp Anchorage.

August 28th 2022: “En route from Zeebrugge to Santander, with 21 crew members on board, suffered an engine issue and was anchored in position 51 24 34 N, 001 59 07 E, approximately 22 nautical miles from Ramsgate. The vessel had minor engine trouble and resumed its voyage after troubleshooting with an ETA as of August  30th .”.
