History

The second ship of the Ponant Exporers class of cruise ships pperated by Ponant. Each member of the class has been allocated the name of a famous French explorer, and LE CHAMPLAIN is named after Samuel de Champlain, “The Father of New France.

April 20th 2017: Keel laid.

April 27th 2018: Arrived at Alesund for “Fitting Out”.

September 27th 2018: Completed and delivered to Ponant Cruises

October 25th 2018: Maiden voyage Honfleur – Lisbon.
