September 13th 2021: To Thyssen-Krupp Marine Systems G.m.b.H. / German Naval Yards, Kiel for conversion from Supply Vessel to Salvage Tug.

February 1st 2022: ABEILLE NORMANDIE for Owner: Abeilles Finacement SASU.

May 7th 2022: Arrived in Boulogne and chartered by the French Navy.

May 12th 2022: Trials off Brest.

May 30th 2022: Trials in the English Channel.

June 2022: To Boulogne as home port.

June 23rd 2022: Christened in Le Havre before resuming operations from Boulogne.

December 10th 2022: Off Blériot-Plage, in adverse weather, the tug rescued the 43 migrants who were taken to Boulogne. During the night, the tug was again deployed off Calais to save 43 people who were dropped off at the port of Calais in the morning of Dec 11. All migrants were taken care of by the border police and the departmental fire and rescue service.

January 22nd 2023: The CROSS (Centre Régional Opérationnel de Surveillance et de Sauvetage) Gris-Nez was informed that a boat was in difficulty off Pas-de-Calais and deployed the ‘Abeille Normandie’ to the scene, which rescued 53 shipwrecked. They were taken to the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer, where they were taken care of by the departmental fire and rescue service the emergency medical aid service and the border police.

February 24th 2023: Rescued 40 migrants, taking them to the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer.

March 3rd 2023 : Assisted ISLE OF INNISFREE (III) which had suffered an engine-room fire whilst en-route from Dover to Calais. Stood by then towed her towards Calais.
