History

June 2nd 1969: Launched.

June 16th 1969: Completed as BALTIC for Bugsier Reederei und Bergungs AG, Hamburg

1960’s – 70’s: Stationed at Dover

May 9th 1983: Laid up in Bremerhaven.

April 4th 1986: Sold to Yau Wing Shipbreaking Ltd., Hong Kong and on the same day sold to North Atlantic Towage & Salvage Ltd, Valletta and renamed as ATLANTIC RESCUER.

2000: Purchased by Yau Wing Shipbreaking Ltd., Hong Kong.

September 2005: “Known to be abandoned off the Namibian coast”.

July 2008: Seen in a “wrecked state” in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
