Steel twin (fully azimuthing ZP 31 Z-Peller propulsion units) screw motor vessel built in 2005 by Kanagawa Zosen – Kobe (Yard No 533) as a Tug.

August 20th 2004: Keel laid.

November 19th 2004: Launched.

February 2nd 2005: Delivered to Far East Towing Co Ltd as TADAMI MARU. Soma Harbour Towage Co.Ltd. – Iwaki.

January 2007: Renamed CHAMPION and imported by J.P. Knight (Caledonian) Ltd.

March 15th 2007: Purchased by Adsteam UK and renamed ADSTEAM INTREPID

October 12th 2019: Arrived in Dover (manned by her regular crew with a DHB Tug Master/Mate also on board for guidance, support and communications) from Sheerness to act as relief for DHB DOUGHTY (away at refit in Hull/UK).
