June 25th 2013: Under tow to Marghera, Italy, following an early morning engine room fire. The fire was put out quickly, with no reported injuries, however one of the ship’s engines was damaged. The cause of the problem was a fire in the ship’s engine room, which left the propulsion system inoperative. This then caused the ship to drift to a halt about 16 miles offshore. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured in the incident. One week later she went to the S.Marco shipyard in the port of Trieste.
