March 2nd 2016: Reported engine failure 9 miles off Calais, near Cross Gris-Nez. She was en-route to Immingham, had nine crew aboard and was not carrying cargo. Repairs could not be carried out and she was forced to anchor. With weather conditions deteriorating, ” . Le préfet maritime de la Manche et de la mer du Nord” ordered L’ABEILLE LANGUEDOC to go to the vessels assistance.
