I have been photographing ships since the early 1990’s and within this section of the website you will find a selection of my own photographs dating back to 2012. Although I am primarily based at the Port of Dover I quite often document my travels from other ports and these are also listed here.

Four Seasons

In what has become a yearly trip around the Easter period we joined the Brittany Ferries vessel Normandie on the 30th March for her overnight crossing to Caen (Ouistreham). After an early morning arrival in Ouistreham on the 31st March we spent the whole day in Normandy before returning overnight to Portsmouth on the Brittany Ferries vessel Bretagne from the Breton port of St Malo.

As some of you are more than likely aware in October of last year myself and Paul Cloke undertook a number of crossings of the Irish Sea with Irish Ferries. Just like previous voyage reports you will find a full photographic account of our trip along with some commentary about the journey itself. As I am not really known for taking internal photographs of ships I have linked to videos produced by Irish Ferries which show their ships and their extensive facilities.
