Fred Olsen Express

Fred. Olsen Express is an inter island ferry service based in the Canary Islands, Spain. It operates routes from Agaete to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Corralejo to Playa Blanca, Las Palmas to Morro Jable, Los Cristianos to San Sebastian de la Gomera, Los Cristianos to Santa Cruz de La Palma, San Sebastián de la Gomera to Santa Cruz de La Palma.

The company is owned by the Olsen family controlled Bonheur and Ganger Rolf, who also owns the shipping companies Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and First Olsen Tankers.

Fred. Olsen Express was founded in 1974 as Ferry Gomera S.A. Up until 1999 the company traded as Lineas Fred. Olsen. In 1999 the company started a fleet renewal programme to replace its conventional ferry fleet with high speed vessels.
