History

June 25th 1920: Delivered as CANADIAN TRAPPER to Canadian Trapper Ltd (Canadian Government Merchant Marine Ltd).

1928: Management transferred from Canadian Government Merchant Marine Ltd to Canadian National Steamship Co. 

1929: GUECHO for Compania Naviera Amaya.

Guecho

1936: GENECHO for Compania Naviera Amaya.

September 30th 1937: Sunk by Spanish Nationalist air attack, re-floated.

1940: GUECHO for Compania Naviera Amaya.

1946: GUECHO for Compania Naviera Espanola.

March 21st 1952: Off Eastbourne, Sussex struck on the starboard side, by British steamer BENWYVIS. Assisted by tugs four miles south-east of Dover Harbour ……….
