History

August 27th 1976: Launched.

October 30th 1976: Delivered to P/R Trans Germania, Lübeck.

November 4th 1976: Introduced between Central Europe and Finland.

June 10th 1978: On a trip between Hamina and Amsterdam ran aground near Bülk, in the Kiel Fjord. Her load was transferred to a barge, after which she re-floated.

December 27th 1985: Registered to Poseidon Schiffahrt OHG, Lübeck.

December 27th 1990: On a trip from Hull to Turku, Finland (via Helsinki) ran aground 52 miles before Turku.

January 1991 – April 1991: Repaired in Turku.

November 5th 1991 – May 1992: Chartered to Norse Irish Ferries, Belfast and used between Belfast and Liverpool.

June 1st 1992 – July 17th 1992: Chartered to Sea Wind Line and used between Turku and Stockholm.

May 31st 1993 – July 24th 1993: Chartered Sea Wind Line and used between Turku and Stockholm.

1993: Registered to Poseidon Schiffahrt AG, Limassol and renamed in ROSEBAY. 13700 GT.

August 1993: Chartered to Transeuropa Line, London.

August 4th 1993: Left Lübeck for overhaul.

1993: Used in the Adriatic.

July 4th 1994: Chartered to Stena BV, Hoek van Holland and used between Rotterdam and Harwich.

October 8th 2000: Used between Hoek van Holland and Killingholme.

March 17th 2001: Last sailing between Killingholme and Hoek van Holland, then laid up in Rotterdam.

April 26th 2001: Sold to Rederi AB Engship, Nagu.

May 11th 2001: Handed over to her new owners in Dunkirk and renamed in TRANS PARADEN.

May 14th 2001: Chartered to Botnia link and used between Vaasa and Harnösand.

November 20th 2002: Botnia Link logs for bankruptcy.

November 21st 2002: Arrived in Turku.

December 3rd 2002: Chartered to Latline (DFDS Tor Line) to be employed between Kiel and Riga.

January 3rd 2003 – June 23rd 2003: Used between Riga and Lübeck.

June 25th 2003: Sailed from Lübeck to Fredericia.

June 26th 2003: Used between Fredericia, Copenhagen and Klaipeda.

December 6th 2003: Chartered to Sovcomflot and used between Kiel and St. Petersburg.

February 2nd 2004: Sold to Eckerö Line.

April 27th 2004: Charter completed and made her final arrival in St. Petersburg.

May 4th 2004: Renamed TRANSLANDIA.

May 18th 2004: Used between Helsinki and Tallinn.

January 2013: Sold to Cresta Group Ltd.

January 2013: Laid up in Paljassare (Tallinn) prior to being taken over by her new owners.

March 12th 2013: Cresta were unable to finance the purchase and she was therefore sold to Salem Al Makrani Cargo Co., Moroni.

March 19th 2013 – April 2nd 2013: Sailed from Paljassare, via Kiel-Canal and Ceuta to Mersin.

April 4th 2013: Used between Mersin and Port Said.

2013: Used between Al Adabiya and Saudi-Arabia.

May 24th 2014: Beached at Alang for breaking.
