P&O Cruises


P&O Cruises is a British cruise line based in Southampton, England and is owned by Carnival Corporation & plc and operated by Carnival UK. The company was founded in 1977 as a subsidiary of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O) and can trace its heritage to P&O’s first passenger operations in 1837. Along with its sister company P&O Cruises Australia, it has the oldest heritage of any cruise line in the world. P&O Cruises was divested from the main P&O Group in 2000, becoming a subsidiary of P&O Princess Cruises plc.
