MV Al Mansour, ex Reine Astrid (II), Stena Nautica, Hellas, Stena Nordica – Steel twin screw motor vessel built by Rickmers Werft. GmbH, Bremerhaven in 1975 (Yard No. 382) for Stena Ab, Goteborg as a roll-on roll-off car and commercial vehicle ferry.
During a weekend of sunshine it would be rude not to experience a ferry journey (or two). We departed Dover at 0800 for Dunkerque and after a pleasant crossing we drove the short distance down the coast to Calais to return to Dover on DFDS’ latest vessel, the Deal Seaways.

HSC Express I, ex KatExpress I, Norman Arrow, MGC 066 – Aluminium catamaran built in 2009 by Incat Tasmania Pty. Ltd, Hobart, Australia (Yard No. 066) for MCG Chartering Limited. Christened on December 24th 2008.
HSC Atlantic Express, ex Golden Blaze, Pescara Jet, Zara Jet, Pescara Jet, Seacat Danmark, Seacatamaran Danmark, Hoverspeed Boulogne, Hoverspeed Belgium – Aluminium catamaran built in 1991 by Incat (International Catamarans) Australia Pty. Ltd., Hobart, Australia (Yard No. 027) for Hoverspeed Ltd, (Sea Containers Ltd) Nassau, Bahamas as a car and passenger ferry. Launched October 29th 1991.
