History

February 1978: Ordered.

June 1978: Keel struck.

April 27th 1979: Launched and christened by godmother Maikki Helleberg.

June 14th 1979: Delivered to Rederi Ab Gotland, Visby.

June 1979: Commenced services between Oskarshamn – Visby – Nynashamn as a freight and dangerous goods RoRo vessel. She has a strengthened hull to withstand collision and hull damage.

September 1986 – April 1987: Services between Oskarshamn – Visby (Some cars and passengers with departures Monday to Wednesday).

January 1st 1988: Left Visby for Australia having been chartered for three years to Brambles Shipping, Australia.

January 1988: Transferred to Gotland Shipping Ltd, Douglas, Isle of Man for £1,850,500 GBP. Brambles Shipping had demanded British registry hence the transfer.

February 1988: Services between Melbourne – Burnie (Tasmania).

1991: One year extension to her charter.

January 1992: After her charter to Brambles Shipping, went to an Australian yard for refit and minor modifications. She was also repainted in Sally Lines before leaving Australian waters.

March 1992: Transferred to Gotland Shipping Ltd, Nassau, Bahamas and chartered to Sally Line Ltd, Ramsgate, England on a two year bareboat charter with a three year and purchase option. Services Ramsgate – Dunkerque.

September 7th 1999 – September 16th 1999: Destination Gotlands services as relief for  VISBY.

January 2000: Chartered to for a short time to BornholmerFærgen, Ronne, Denmark.

January 15th 2000 – January 22nd 2000: Services between Ronne – Copenhagen.

2000 (Spring): Chartered to Valmet Oy, Nystad for the transport of  machinery and car  parts between Nystad – Travemunde.

May 2000 – August 2000: Destination Gotland services between Nynäshamn – Visby – Oskarshamn.

August 20th 2000: Six month charter to Polish Baltic Shipping Co, Świnoujście, Poland.

October 2nd 2000: Services between Swinoujscie – Trelleborg.

November 29th 2000: Owing to payment problems her charter was terminated.

November 30th 2000: Arrived in Visby for lay up.

December 2000: Made several trips carrying waste from the city of Gotland to Norrköping.

January 2001: Chartered to Amber Line for services between Karlshamn – Liepaja.

February 18th 2001 – April 30th 2001: Chartered to Botnia Link Ab for services Harnösand – Vaasa – Umea.

May 2001: Destinations Gotland services.

October 2001: Loaded in Halmstad, she was chartered for a single journey, transporting a Funfair to Hong Kong.

April 2002: Returned from charter.

She will carry various pieces of military equipment for the Spanish Infantry Battalion, who will be operating alongside Polish, Czech and Lithuanian troops.

October 24th 2020: Sailed from Santander.

October 31st 2020: Arrived in Klaipeda.

November 4th 2020: Arrived in Slite.

November 17th 2020: Left Slite.

November 18th 2020: Arrived Klaipeda.

November 18th 2020: Left Klaipeda on the final leg of her charter (showing destination as Santander).

November 22nd 2020: Transited the Dover Strait.
